Expanding NYC Financial institution is currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer with Network Architecting experience. Please read the details listed below and respond with a current resume.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designing and Implementing of data networks, WAN and LAN, Internet, VPN, and Network Services including Server Load Balancing, Dynamic Site Selection and Firewalls on the Enterprise level in a global engineering environment.
In addition you will perform infrastructure planning, analysis, design, development and testing.
Maintenance/writing of technical documentation and supporting third level problem escalation.
Daily interface with executives, users, vendors and department staff in a highly-interactive environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of seven years Network Engineering experience
Ability to meet with client business units, obtains requirements, analyze options, and provide solutions for multiple concurrent projects.
Must have proven knowledge of and experience with Data Center design methodologies, modular network design, and be prepared to discuss these in great detail.
Advanced knowledge of Multicast and Routing/Switching protocols (OSPF/BGP is necessary)
Advanced knowledge of MPLS based Layer 3 VPNs. NextGen MVPNs and VPLS are a plus.
Intimate knowledge of firewall/DMZ architecture and network security. Exposure to Palo Alto Firewalls is a plus.
Working knowledge of Quality of Service, Policy Routing, NAT, IPSec, VLANs, and load balancing techniques.
Advanced knowledge of Juniper JUNOS. Knowledge and experience with Cisco IOS is a plus.
Experience with Loadbalancers.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to interact professionally with
Technical and professional certifications are necessary.
$110,000 to $125,000
Location: Manhattan
Compensation: $110K to $125K Plus Excellent Benefits + Bonus
